Aeroshell Oil Sport Plus 4 Synthetic lubricating oil for aircraft piston engines (4-stroke) Application Aeroshell Oil Sport Plus 4
AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4 is intended for use in four-stroke piston engines of aircraft that have an original automotive design and therefore cannot use conventional ashless dispersion oils for aircraft engines. These engines include carbureted, fuel injected and turbocharged engines such as the ROTAX 912 and 914 series. AeroShell Sport Plus 4 can be used in integrated transmission and wet clutch systems. AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4 can be used in engines running on both unleaded gasoline and Avgas 100LL. Proper choice of additives and good solvent properties allow the oil to deal with lead-containing by products, which can form a semi-solid sludge in the oil that can impede oil passage and affect lubrication. In this respect, AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4 is superior to oils intended for use in cars/motorcycles.
