MOLYKOTE G-Rapid Plus Solid Lubricant Paste
[UN1950, CL 2.1]

Description
Solid lubricant paste with a particularly low coefficient of friction for the assembly and running-in of metallic machine parts.

Applications
For the press fit production of all types of machine parts, as a running-in lubricant for new machines and gears, for the permanent lubrication of machine parts that are only moved rarely or to a small extent, as well as for drilling, sawing and thread cutting. For lubricating threaded and grooved shafts, gear and worm gears, moving screws, pipe fittings, pumps, guides for machine tools and for adjusting ball and roller bearings, rollers, wheel flanges and bolts.

Shelf life and storage
When stored at or below 20 ºC in unopened original containers, the shelf life of this product is 60 months from the date of manufacture.

Application instructions
Clean sliding surfaces or contact points, then apply paste using a brush, cloth, synthetic sponge or chamois leather. n contrast to grease lubrication, do not apply in excess. Rubbing the metal surface vigorously improves adhesion. Do not mix with other greases or oils.
