This David Clark H10-13HXL Helicopter headset is a variation of the H10-13XL. It's a popular choice for chopper pilots. The 5 foot coil cord of the David Clark H10-13HXL terminates with a single U-174/U plug and has a quick release connector. This headset has a modular design and is powered by a 9 volt battery pack. It has super soft comfort features to cushion your head with low pressure, and a flexible M-7A noise canceling electronic microphone (best in the business). When on, the ENC reduces noise by up to 22 dB. You can also hook this unit up to a stereo system for in-cabin entertainment.
