PPG PR1440B1/2-1001 (100-ml-Semkit) is a premium aircraft integral fuel tank sealant, engineered to deliver exceptional performance under the most demanding conditions. This two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound is designed specifically for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other critical fuselage sealing applications. With a broad service temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and intermittent tolerance up to 275°F (135°C), PPG PR1440B1/2-1001 (100-ml-Semkit) offers outstanding durability and resilience. The sealant cures at room temperature, forming a tough, flexible seal that maintains its integrity even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel, aviation gas, and other harsh environmental factors. This product meets the rigorous AMS-S-8802 Class B specification, ensuring it upholds the high standards required in the aerospace industry.
