More than 40 years ago, Bose introduced active noise reduction headsets to aviation. The new Bose Headset A30, after the A20 serie, provides a new Digital active noise reduction, only available at Bose. A new experience with a customizable active noise due to the selection of 3 modes of active noise cancellation, now pilot's can chose in function of their environment or preferences. The clamping force has been reduced for a better comfort.

Features: - new digital active noise reduction - chose between 3 modes of noise cancellation. Low mode improves interpersonal communication outside the intercom. Medium mode is designed for typical jet aircraft, providing sufficient active noise cancellation for clear and comfortable radio communication. Medium mode also meets the latest ARINC recommandation for noise reduction in jet aircraft. Finally, high mode provides a higer reduction mode for general aviation, in louder environment aircraft. - talk-through tap control - reduce more ambiant noise owing to the use of both inside and outside microphones in each ear cup - redesigned ear cushions with larger interior cavity allowing more comfort for the ears - right and left markings on the ear cup for a quick identification - aluminium headband with less clamping force for a better comfort - flexible and adjustale microphone, can be connected in right/left earcup easily with the swapable cable - no tool needed ! - auxiliary audio input for MP3 or GPS connection for example - until 45 hours in use with 2 AA batteries. With continuous operation of the Bluetooth® function, battery life will last 25-plus hours. As always, battery life varies with the type of battery, noise environment and features used during flight.
